The wheel is immersed in a chemical stripping solution to remove all paint, lacquer, and corrosion down to the bare metal, exposing the full extent of the damage.
After stripping, the wheel is media blasted to remove any remaining corrosion and create a perfect, keyed surface for the new primer to adhere to.
A special anti-corrosion primer is applied, followed by the base coat and a tough, protective lacquer to seal the wheel from the elements.
