We use a three-step, precision CNC process to restore your diamond cut wheels to their original glory:
The wheel is first stripped, repaired, and painted. Then, a laser probe scans the exact contours of the wheel face, creating a digital map for the CNC lathe to follow.
The lathe then precisely cuts a microscopic layer from the wheel face, removing all scratches and scuffs while recreating the original machine lines.
Finally, a durable, high-gloss clear lacquer is applied to the entire wheel to protect the bare alloy from corrosion and enhance the two-tone effect.
If you look closely at the wheel face, you will see very fine, concentric lines, similar to the back of a CD. The face of the wheel will be bright, bare metal, while the inner parts of the spokes are typically painted a different colour (like silver, grey, or black).
